Immersion assembly
Immersion assembly!!
Today we had an Immersion assembly, this year’s theme is TeWaToi which means all teams will be learning about art, our team 5 is going to be focusing on How do artists express meaning through their art, we had our management they were dressing up our principal while other team’s were presenting then they manage to name him Manaiakalani man because he was dressed up as maui from moana.
This morning team 5 had showed us what where doing for this term we are focusing on (How do artists express meaning through their art?) team 5 teachers had came up with an idea about what where doing for this term (BTW the teachers were the actors, like they were acting like they were at tamaki for tech, the characters were Mrs Tele’a, Ms taupauke, Mrs illaoa and Msr Wisemen all these teachers are from team5, each teacher had a pieace of drawings to present, So we are learning about how do artists express their feelings.

How to keep your body healthy
Explanation writing: Explain ways in which we can keep healthy.
Introduction:
Today I am going to give some little tips about how to keep you body healthy and fit.
Paragraph 1:
Here are some tips about how to stay healthy and fit, drinking lots of is good for your health and if you play sports you need to drink lots of water to keep you fit.
Paragraph 2:
Another way to keep you body healthy and fit is to eat lite some of the foods you could eat are vegetables, fruits, things that don’t have a lots of sugar or fat, some people like to be on a diet.
Paragraph 3:
If you really want to stay healthy you could train, some people train every single day some people like to train every second day, training is good for your health, sometimes people like to go for a swim, if you ever dreamed to become a rugby player or a netball player all you need to do is to train and never give up.
Paragraph 4:
If you can’t keep up with your training sometimes people love to go for a walk or a lite jog around the block.
Conclusion:
So i hope you have learnt how to keep your body healthy and fit, if your dream is to become a rugby player or a netball player you should never give up.

On the first week of holiday well not the whole week we missed a day and then played a game I had a rugby tournament versing other team like south, west and central and i was representing the east team, the first game we played against was central then west then our last game was against south and it was a tough game.

On the second week of holidays I did some chores before my mum and dad came back from work, on wednesday i went to gravity where you can jump and play games there is a lot of trandpaline, On friday i went to the movies to watch Ant man then we went roller skating it was difficult to skate because people just run into you.

On the 21 of july i went to Maybury reserve to do the Te Ara Rama matariki light trail, as we walked around the light trial we saw different types of lights like hearts, stars, jellyfish, Tiki, and there were people were performing an item, then at 9:30 people gathered together to watch the fireworks.

On the last day of the school holiday my family went to the movies to watch skyscraper it was a cool movie because it had the rock, its funny and emotional then it was time to go home and i didn't really want to come back to school.
