Immersion assembly
Immersion assembly!!
Today we had an Immersion assembly, this year’s theme is TeWaToi which means all teams will be learning about art, our team 5 is going to be focusing on How do artists express meaning through their art, we had our management they were dressing up our principal while other team’s were presenting then they manage to name him Manaiakalani man because he was dressed up as maui from moana.
This morning team 5 had showed us what where doing for this term we are focusing on (How do artists express meaning through their art?) team 5 teachers had came up with an idea about what where doing for this term (BTW the teachers were the actors, like they were acting like they were at tamaki for tech, the characters were Mrs Tele’a, Ms taupauke, Mrs illaoa and Msr Wisemen all these teachers are from team5, each teacher had a pieace of drawings to present, So we are learning about how do artists express their feelings.

How to keep your body healthy
Explanation writing: Explain ways in which we can keep healthy.
Introduction:
Today I am going to give some little tips about how to keep you body healthy and fit.
Paragraph 1:
Here are some tips about how to stay healthy and fit, drinking lots of is good for your health and if you play sports you need to drink lots of water to keep you fit.
Paragraph 2:
Another way to keep you body healthy and fit is to eat lite some of the foods you could eat are vegetables, fruits, things that don’t have a lots of sugar or fat, some people like to be on a diet.

If you really want to stay healthy you could train, some people train every single day some people like to train every second day, training is good for your health, sometimes people like to go for a swim, if you ever dreamed to become a rugby player or a netball player all you need to do is to train and never give up.

If you can’t keep up with your training sometimes people love to go for a walk or a lite jog around the block.

Force and motion
Team five has been working on this project called force and motion and each of every on of us had to come up with an experiment, This project is a really good experiment because it can help us understand.
Me and my partner had two ideas one of our ideas were a string and a balloon, our second idea was cup, balloon, marshmallow.
One of the ideas we followed was the string and the balloon
Our experiment was a big fail, we tried our experiment with the cup, balloon, marshmallow, both of our ideas were success but me and my partner choose to do a presentation about force and motion.
Next time we will be more prepared and when we have a idea we will stick with that idea.

Special place in the community
My special place in the community is Pt England school because you can do alot of things like play sports, we work on chromebook and you get to go tamaki college for tech . Today I am talking to you about my special place in the community.
My special place is Pt England because kids like us would love to come to Pt England you get to learn new things that you never learned before and you get to play different kind sports you also you can make new friends. Every year we get to go down to Pt England reserve and have pincic you get to play games, hang around with your friend and you there's even a beach which we swim in you have lots of fun.
At Pt England school we use chromebooks the schools around G.I is lucky because we get to work on chromebooks we are also lucky because some schools they don’t use chromebooks they use pencil and paper our school if you do something bad on your chromebook teachers can see on the dashboard, Pt england is sponsored by the manaiakalani every year we go to the cinema with other schools around G.I and we have to present something to them and they have to present something to us.
At Pt England you get to play a lot of sports there’s Netball, Rugby, softball, cricket all those different kind of sport sometimes when you play a sport and you vs schools and you bet them like say for, an example if i play netball and you compte them you get to go to the enter zones which is like the top finials every sport you play and you compte you might lose or win but it doesn't matter because there's always a 2nd chance.

My story about Rainbows end
On saturday evening I went to Krispy kreme donut and when we were driving past it was packed because the Polyfest just finished and people was waiting in line apparently Krispy kreme donut is from Australia and it’s so famous. People even buy two boxes of donuts we were waiting in line and we finally got our donuts after we got our donuts we sat down and my mum put candles on the donuts then my family sang the Happy Birthday song to me.
After we had our donuts we headed off to Rainbows End when we got there people were already waiting in line so we just took heaps of photos then we got into Rainbow end the first thing we did was bumper boats it was so fun because i kept wetting other people and it got into their boats.
After that we went to power search i almost cried because it was spinning around fast and i was screaming because it went upside down and round and round and i was so dizzy I almost fell, we stayed at rainbows end 6:00 to 11:00.
Every time we go to a ride its all was packed and people go one the rides two times but when we were waiting in line people were screaming hard out but it was so funny, there was even a Gig it like when people come and they entertain and sometimes they say can we have any volunteer they might get called to sing or dance.
I was scared to go on the fear fall, when you get on the far fall you will already have butterflies in your stomach when you go up you can see most of the rides and buildings when you get to the top you stay there for a while then you drop down its really scary I closed my eyes the hole way up and the whole way down then I said to my cousin im never going on that ride again.
Our last was ride was the stratosfear first we went on the less extreme because there wasn't that much people in the line it was kinda boring because it just went side to side then we went and stood in the line of extreme where it goes side to side then it goes around when. When you go on the extreme it goes to the top and you stay there for a bit then you come back down it did probably go up two times, when I went on it I was screaming my loudest then it was slowing down, then we finally went home.

How we can save money
How we can save money?
Introduction:
Money is used for a lot of things now a days, people spend money on silly things like lollies, people don't use money wisely, when people get paid they should half the amount of money they have and put half of it away.
How do you save money? When you have money you should buy things you really need or if you have you money you could ask your parents to hold on to it or put it in you piggy bank another way you could save money is if you living with a lot of people and your paying the bills you could just go and turn of all the switches in the house.
Another way you could save money is when you buy the shopping you could buy cheap stuff or expensive stuff but most of the times you should buy the cheap stuff, when i have money my mom always tells me to save my money.
If you really need money you could do the chores or have a garage sale when you have a garage sale you can sell things that you don't want anymore people will come and buy the things that you've soled and you will get some money back but it depends on the price

How to prevent yourself from getting sick
When you get sick sometimes it could be bad or it may be alright but if your sick the best way is to stay in bed and always remember to keep clean, eat healthy, wear warm clothes, stay hydrated but if your sick sometimes it can spread to other people.
A way you could keep yourself clean is to have a shower everyday drink lots of water eat healthy food stay away from people that are sick because it might spread and you might get it.
Another way you could keep clean is to not eat junk or drink fizzy or lollies because you might get sick if you eat junk everyday or for the past 2 or 3 months you may get a sickness called diabetes that's why we stay hydrated and keep clean.
I know another way you could get better by going to see the doctor or just stay in bed but the best way to get better is to go see the doctor they might help you by giving you medicine we are lucky to have doctors that help people. Thats why its alway good to stay away from sick people or keep clean every single day

First week of school!!
First week of school!!
Malo e lelei my name is Bryana and i go to Pt England school when school star first came to school i ran straight to my friends when the bell rang we had to line up and go to the assembly our school got to know the perfects and the house captain after the assembly we went to class and we introduce the year 7 to our block they were so excited to come then we gathered up and Mr Wise men was telling us what class where in, the rest of the day we just got to know the year 7 better and settle in, i've made some new friends out of the year 7 this year Korea is kaitiakitanga i naga wa katoa it means to Respect.
